The Owners...
The Silver Dollar Pancake House was the first job that Robert Hernandez ever had. At the age of 13 he began working at the restaurant as a dishwasher. He later trained to be a cook and though his dedication to the business he was inspired to become owner of the restaurant. In 1991 Robert & his wife Diana bought the Silver Dollar Pancake House from the same man that hired Robert back in 1975.
Today, Robert still cooks right along with the other cooks. Diana keeps herself busy waitressing, hostessing, or as a cashier. And when she is not helping the other employees, she is taking care of the accounting.
Even though we work hard, our customers are worth it!All of us here take pride and enjoyment in sharing our "Home Style Cooking" with you. Our cinnamon rolls and bread pudding are all homemade.
We're happy to have you here and hope you enjoy our food and service as much as we enjoy you!

- In the 1940's we were a Chinese restaurant
- In the late 1940's we were a Mexican restaurant
In the 1950's we became the Silver Dollar Pancake House featuring "Home Style Cooking"
